Friday 13th November 2015 & when singularity meets cheap energy

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Everybody in the West wants a high standard of living created by cheap energy, at the end of the last century we got into bed with the Middle East; for which we are now paying the price for pissing people off. Everybody knows about the Miners Strike. A bunch of people allegedly getting very high quality coal out of the ground uneconomically.

Whereas nobody talks about the ARMS manufacturers in the UK (4th in the world) supplying weapons with UK tax payers money as a subsidy to Syria and Yemen etc. (Thank you Mr Blair for reneging on your manifesto promise to stop Credit Export Guarantees.) WE HAVE CAUSED the current refugee crisis.

If you think the refugee crisis is WRONG, think about tax credits, social housing, the NHS, education, the police, the armed forces – the West is built on CHEAP energy. Could we have these things without the shit in the Middle East? Think carefully about the things you dislike in the news because the odds are we’re actually personally involved with perpetuating the bollocks.

“Deficit spending”, does the average politician actually know what it is? Do you know what it is? It is a belief that in the future, things will be better and that we will forward BORROW from the unborn TODAY so that we can pay for the welfare state and the miltary industrial complex TODAY; to perpetuate the control of energy supply in foreign countries – we really don’t care about. Until the population who are sick of being shelled and gassed by the weapons we’ve supplied to their dictators decide to upsticks and visit us.

In order for the unborn to pay this debt back GROWTH will have to occur to allow the unbridled credit expansion which has come to exist since the US came off the Gold standard in 1971 to continue financing the Vietnam war by printing dollars to make bombs and guns.

The problem when any policician say “MORE GROWTH” it assumes that some magic bullet will come along, graze the next Einstein’s arse whilst coming out of the shower, cause a eureka momment and come up with an idea to produce almost free energy.

Fusion nuclear power – it ain’t going to happen for maybe another 10-15 years.

So what’s likely to happen is the system gambles on the creation of almost free energy from which ever solution rears it head. This gamble is being determined by “credit expansion”, a phrase you will hear thrown around on serious news programmes. When you hear this phrase, just substitute it for “free energy is just around the corner” so there is no need to worry about the debt being shovelled from a large height on the unborn.

The problems of the world really just start at the point in time when “singularity” meets almost free energy.

Religions will be regulated by the wealthy 1%, they are just not going to tolerate the extremists who are brainwashed by their respective “cults”. The 1% will gain the support of enough percentage to DNA profile people at birth to deal with this problem, I believe that eugenics in it’s broadest terms represents one of the greatest challenges within our lifetime.

Imagine a world where things are plentiful and everyone need not starve or have a poor education. That world could be now, but more so in the future, because the 1% will see a way to obtain yet more wealth by playing with the gene pool. The 1% have historically controlled the allocation of wealth and money.

Or maybe Skynet decides the fate of humanity?

Ray Kurzweil’s Singularity University

Ray Kurzweil’s latest graphs show that technology’s breakneck advances will only accelerate — recession or not. He unveils his new project, Singularity University, to study oncoming tech and guide it to benefit humanity.
