Every day is wretched

When you are not with me
Seconds feel like minutes
Minutes feel like hours
Every day is wretched

Can we really be apart?
It cannot be the ocean
It cannot be the time
But every day is wretched

You feel my love for you
Because you know we’re not apart

I know your love for me
Because I feel you in my heart

a dream I had a few nights ago – forgot to entry it staight away, but had typed it up

I dreamt that Py and I walked into this huge mansion property, it was on the side of a coastal area – like the Salcombe Esturary.

The house was empty – we found ourselves in a drawing room.

Py had sat down and when I turn around to talk to her the husband and wife who owned the house came in.

As I explained that we wondered in he told us that they we going to sell the house by auction to get the best price. The problem was not being able to advertise it in magazines like Country/Devon Life for fear of being robbed. (Then a son popped into the room).

(I can quite clearly visualise this room and where Py was sitting)

Library of Congress Classification Scheme
v
Dewey Decimal

hmmm
(I should have done this years ago with my bookmarks…)

and the strange thing about yesterday

Abi didn’t whoof of go for Magaret and David – my visiting Aunt and Uncle, down in Batson, Salcombe till Friday. She just went to basket and said ‘nought.

Sally was as good as gold! (But that’s usual)

Hotest day this year in the UK

90+ today in the UK – yes it was hot.
Read the Sunday Times cover to cover in the cool.
Strayed out to cut the edge in the evening.
Plumbed in external powersupply to my new CD player. It’s all now hidden in the glove compartment and another cig lighter socket free for recharging the mobile.
Crickey – it’s it not 23:30 before I think about playing with p.org.
Well – at least I got the Webcam grab in the top left – this will now display a piccy every 5 mins at my desk at SML – gee – I love just technology.
Picked up the second Chicago film that I shot on colour neg – they are really cool. Sears tower will appear here soon.
Time for a dip in a nice hot bath…

See you soon readers… (please allow up to a week, I have copious notes to type up! and a poorer memory than Py.)

I opened a file of Py’s

I opened of Py’s to put in bank statement and one of her Psychology papers and smelt the incense we used to burn in the room together. I was filled with emotion. I could feel Py because of the associated smells. Emotion – funny stuff eh?

I don’t deserve you.
Unless it’s some kind of hidden message.
To show me life is precious
Then I guess it’s true.
But to tell the truth, I really never knew
‘Til I met you.
I was lost and confused.
Twisted and used up.
Knew a better life existed.
But thought that I missed it.

Hey sugar mama, come and
Dance with me.
The smartest thing you ever did
Was take a chance with me.
Whatever tickles your fancy.
Girl it’s me and you like Sid and Nancy.
So sexy almost evil
Talkin’ about butterflies in my head.
I used to think that happy endings
Were only in the books I read.
But you made me feel alive
When I was almost dead.
You filled that empty space
With the love I used to chase
And as far as I can see,
It don’t get better than this.
So, butterfly here is a song and it’s sealed with a kiss.
And a thank you miss.

Wicked song boys – thank you. MX.

phew! – bit of an epic shop day

Well got up b4 9 on a Saturday.

In the car to Exeter went to the camera shop, he didn’t think my camera needed tightening or the lens ring replacing after the other week’s smash. The dude also had a f3.5 35-70 Minolta MD original solid lens hood – what a start £5. Minolta UK wanted £15 + VAT. It would cost £38 to replace the baynet ring and fit it, the frame counter is knackered – £48. Er so it’s cheaper for me to part/ex it for another second hand one with a warranty than fix it properly! That’s cold logic for you.

I also spotted a lovely De Vere monorail for 200 quid :-). Wow I’m dreaming. (Py it also needs two lens to go with it and a *uck off tripod, so it will be a while before I visit the shop again. It’s £700 project but he does have them go through all the time 🙂

Next I popped into town and ordered the 2 seater Boston futon, Py you’ll now have to guess which material I choose for the loose covers 🙂

All day breakfast at the place we went to last time. (Sorry you weren’t with me Py.)

Found a wallet for the trip to Chicago. (Py insisted I needed a new one)

Off Trago to fill the car up. 76.9p per litre – v cheap around these parts. 79.9p/l being normal.

Ashburton. Found a present for my Py’s dad and a cheap watch to wear in the US – ‘cus my travel insurance won’t cover my watch 🙁 & Py’s birthday card 🙂

Saturday evening – bought a Hoover Junior! £15 – advert I spotted in the local paper on very late Friday night.

…more spooky connections

The contracts have been exchanged – completion date August 28th. It was going to be August 27th, but that’s a Bank Holiday – which must have been the first time Py and I became connection. It was that Bank Holiday two years ago to the day I surfed Yahoo! UK’s Regional Forum and spotted Py’s posting asking about studying in the UK… And the rest as they say is history!

An uneventful Sunday

Got up, papers, tidied old office – (loads of books to do with the move), mowed the lawns.

Funny thought – what ever happened to the Double Deckers? :

Which then begs the question – whatever happened to Mr Benn?

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon – A date for flat – trip in the “heart of gold”

Steve & Lee invited me round to watch Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

I called the vendor of the flat I’m trying to buy – August 25th! 8 weeks late. What about my lost interest?

Back to the film, different for a martial arts film – it was quite good.

Steve dropped me back at Camp Cross and had a cup of tea – he left with his life & body intact and then…

Let me take the ship (VW Corado VR6) with improbability drive down the line at Torcross.

quick update

Saturday bought a rug for the back of the car in Dartmouth.

Visited Simon Hart’s Art Gallery – I wish him well this summer, he looks like he’s got everything sussed. There about 40 artists in his gallery – so it is worth a visit.

Sunday – caught up with the lawns and unwound for the week ahead.

Miss Py loads – 19 days to go ’till I see her!
